What is Hunt Valley Horsepower?
It can be defined as a community of automobile enthusiasts who meet weekly and enjoy each other's driving machines and the stories that come along with them. The group formed in the tradition of Cars & Coffee gatherings that are prominent throughout the country. The community's popularity exploded within the inaugural year. The one-year anniversary on March 30, 2013 saw over 850 vehicles, Marco Andretti's former Indy Car, a film crew, a helicopter with myself leaning out to photograph the event! The vehicles vary from antiques, muscle cars, daily drivers, exotics and actual race cars to the occasional electric car and ex-military vehicle. The group meets at Hunt Valley Towne Centre (50 Shawan Road, Hunt Valley, MD) on Saturday mornings rain or shine from 8-10 am near Joe's Crab Shack. If it's raining, we might be inside enjoying the coffee at Caribou, Chick-fil-A or Panera. You can find me there on most Saturday mornings with a camera, coffee, and occasionally I even get to bring my old Mustang. You can see more on the Facebook page here, or on Horsepowering.com the official site for Hunt Valley Horsepower.
